Germination tests and construction

A 3 x 2mt Keder Greenhouse was purchased for a location on the west coast of Scotland, and was Installed by a local Garden Maintenance Company ‘’Ayr Garden Maintenance’’

Senior Scientific Consultant for GroGenesis Dr Helen Keenan needed a reliable greenhouse to perform germination tests.
Dr Keenan said’ living in Scotland and a stone’s throw from the beach our weather can be extreme to say the least. Having had glass and polycarbonate greenhouses in the past (neither of which could withstand the adverse weather conditions), the online search began and after exhaustive searching and plenty of review reading Dr Keenan was delighted to find Keder. After visiting their website and viewing the product and reading the reviews it was decided that Keder were the only way forward.

I am very impressed with the design and already it has survived gale force winds with absolutely no damage as I thought would be the case. Overall I would say that I’m ecstatic with the way not only that it looks but in performance as well. It holds the heat very well and in full sun does not take long to heat to temperature the ventilation offered is excellent and the overall feel of the greenhouse is brilliant. Although working at the university as a lecturer and a consultant to Grogenesis I seem to be spending more time in my Keder greenhouse. I just love it and could not be happier with the end result. As an endorsement for Keder I don’t think that it gets any better’.

There is staging on both sides of the greenhouse so there is plenty of room for everything. The overall quality of the keder greenhouse is exceptional, so strong and sturdy. With a guarantee of 10 years against UV light degradation, I know that it will withstand the elements on the west coast of Scotland. I now have all my tests running and due to the excellent staging there is plenty of space for my tomatoes. It is easy to control the temperature inside compared to more traditional greenhouses. I wish I had known about this years ago, no more chasing panels round the garden for me.’’

After building many different types of greenhouses and outbuildings I have got to say the overall and lasting feeling will be of quality at its best.
