Keder Greenhouse and the beautiful backdrop of the Malvern Hills, make the RHS Malvern Spring Festival a great place to visit for all keen growers.

The RHS Malvern Spring Festival is one of the biggest dates in our calendar and we are delighted to again be attending this year. The four-day garden and lifestyle show is on at Malvern Showground from 9 – 12 May 2024. Gardening for Change is this year’s theme and something that is close to our hearts here at Keder.

Until you have been inside a Keder greenhouse, it is difficult to understand what makes them so different from a traditional glasshouse or polytunnel as they sit somewhere between the two options.

Whilst you may see on show many ‘pretty’ greenhouses, with their lovely wooden frames and beautifully aesthetic designs, they also have a few drawbacks for the serious grower. One of the key disadvantages other than constant monitoring and maintenance, is the scorching effect that can occur through glass in sunlight. However, the unique covering on a Keder greenhouse perfectly diffuses the light evenly throughout the greenhouse, you will not have shady spots or sun scorching, therefore achieving a higher yield of upright crops.

A polytunnel may seem like the simpler and cheaper alternative to a glasshouse though sadly they are not designed for longevity and you may find yourself replacing the cover every couple of years.
