Withstanding wind and weather in Keder greenhouse
Delighted Keder Greenhouse owners Steve & Alyson Turner grow garden plants as part of the knowledgeable and friendly garden service they offer to their customers. Their business, Veggie Pots & Gardens, based in the beautiful landscape of Bromyard Downs in Herefordshire has the motto, “Bring your garden to life!”, and using the Keder greenhouse plays an important part in delivering healthy early plants which might not thrive otherwise.
For nine years, the couple has developed their gardening business, and now include growing perennials, vegetables, and bedding plants, chosen as the most suited to local conditions and soil types. Customers seek them out for regular garden support, garden design and planting, garden makeovers, as well as occasional projects throughout the year. This energetic pair can tackle weekly/fortnightly mowing through the busy summer months, as well as hedge cutting, clearing, planting, replanting and transplanting, pruning, general tidying, strimming & weeding.
“We wish we had the Keder Greenhouse sooner”
As the business is set in an exposed position on the Bromyard Downs, the Keder Greenhouse withstands both the wind and the cold winters. Additionally, the heat in the summer is more moderate in the Keder than under glass or in the other tunnels. The plants in the Keder greenhouse avoid scorching, which increases productivity and provides more variety for customer use, especially in garden design. Steve and Alyson grow perennials, vegetables, border plants and bedding in their Keder Greenhouse, as well as in two other tunnels and greenhouses.
Steve explains: “We have heat mats in the Keder and this has helped us over winter and get early plants for our customers. We had the other tunnels before the Keder because we thought they would be a cheaper option, but now we have the Keder, we wish we had got it sooner!”
Steve & Alyson agreed; “we are delighted with our Keder purchase and would fully recommend it to others”.
